Night & Day

Hi All

Its been way too long since I posted on here, my nightscape work has been sporatic at best, day job has been getting in the way, way too much

Anyway here is 2 images with the nightscape the one of most interest to you all.

Its a 30 image stitch taken with the trusty Canon 6D and a Sigma 50mm lens, 10 sec expsoures at f2 ISO 6400

The day shot was from the road side as a pano, it turned out I knew the farmer and was lucky enough to get permission to get into the field and get the right side of windmill to get the milky way.

The 2nd image was my first attempt at the shot, the clouds got in the way but I did manage to capture some lightning in the clouds on the horizon. I was lucky that the sky cleared a few days later to get the shot I pictured.

Anyway let me know what you think

Cheers

Matt

I actually really like the second one with the clouds. It gives the appearance of it being a single super wise field shot as opposed to a panorama.
