I thought Id make a new thread for my NGC253 now that I've gotten rid of whatever problem the image had today. After a pretty frustrating day trying to sort out a problem with either bad frames or pre processing settings I finally got to a point where I'm happy with this one for the small amount of data I have.
Only 3.5 hours so far (42 X 5 min subs) taken at 160 gain with an ASI071MC camera.
I'm planning on getting about 10 times as much data to finish this image but I'm happy with the way its coming along. I can see a couple of really feint, distant galaxies in it. Id like to see more purple in the stars around the edges of the galaxy.
