Autumn colours

Some more pics from my aunty in the pyrenees. This village is called Arrens-marsous. The pic next to it is called the pic du Prédouset.

Seeing the nicer parts of the UK, France, China and US just reminds me of how dreadfully dry most of Australia is.

Water porn, IMHO.

I knew you'd say something like that. Le pic du midi is not too far out, maybe they lease a few square meters on their platform.

Australia is certainly very dry but it doesn't have to be. We have so many coast lines and water everywhere. We could grow anything if we pumped water in land. Replant trees, we could even change local weather patterns on the coastal areas. Libya did that a long while ago. Now I'm dreaming.

Lewis at least it’s only snow, unlike red bull-dust storms here.

Cool weather for snowmen. I do miss the snow sometime.

Been through 2 dust storms whilst here in Canberra - pretty gritty experience! (pun intended). Went through one in QLD too that was MUCH worse than the 2 in Canberra combined, as it had gathered more on it's journey. The sky was so brown and visibility greatly reduced.
