Dead Losmandy Gemini servo motors

Anyone have any dead Losmandy std Gemini servo motor assys they want to sell? Price? Sorry cannot afford to much.

I am fiddling with trying to rewind/overhaul them to return to service cheaply. This is a work in process atm and indeed it may not be practical but I have initial success but need more non-working motors to practice on and do more tests.

edit:
They say beggars cannot be choosers but prefer motors that have not been fiddled with.

Bump

I need some dead motors assys so I can practice rebuilding/rewinding them. I suspect if I can buy a dead motor assy for $30~$40 I could return it to service for an extra $30, giving users the opportunity to buy them for $60~$70 (edit: or $30 if they sold it and brought it back or sent it for repair.).

I have a 2nd motor up and running but need more to trial different winding wire. Not all motors can be returned to service due to damaged pinions etc (the units I have are incomplete) so it is a trial in work atm.

Anyone with a dead burnt out motor they are willing to part with?

Rest assured if I had a dead motor it would be to you that I would turn.
Hope you get some practice as I may need you one day.

Thanks Allan...it's all just a play thing atm but I can see it being beneficial to users to get their motors repaired cheaply or even to have as a spare. All reports are the newer high torque servos are very good, if not pricey.

So far the motors I have done all had shorted windings so can be rewound and are working but these are incomplete.

I would have thought there would be plenty of "dead motors" out there?
