Mars April 19th, moments of good seeing

SPX350 F39.1, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters.

Another clear wind free night of imaging with variable seeing with moments that looked really good but would not settle. I did another combine of 2 sets of data and a gif to show the nights work images every 20mins.

I got a not too bad Saturn but Saturn needs really good seeing to get the fine banding, perhaps I spend too long on Mars as it is the more interesting and only comes round every 2 years and Saturn does not seem to have any storms atm.

Mars-1222 to 1247hrs UT
Gif- 1055 to 1220hrs
Saturn - 1436hrs UT.

Thanks, John.

Lovely work John, even our neighbours are asking me about that bright red star in the east!

Cheers

Exceptional John - very fine detail and colour variation on the relatively bland surface. Regards Ray
