The reality
Yeah, Aldi "Dobson", with the yaktacular constellation and Nat Geo "art work" removed and resprayed Hyundai Vivid Yellow for my 3 year old.
Scope used to be her sister's, but since Miss 8 shows no interest in astronomy, but Miss 3 DEFINITELY does, it got handed down (her next scope will be my Unitron 60/700). I could no longer stand looking at the gad-awful paintwork, so I had a lightbulb moment, and made it into the Epsilon 76
Not sure Tak would approve.
Now to just stick on an old Tak "Do not look at the Sun" decal and make a data plate for it (photo etched).
