Ngc104

Just wanted something quick and easy(-ish) to keep me busy while taking some new shorter subs retakes on Orion - so I did the NGC104 or 47 Tucanae
Just some 5x180s and 10x60s then stacked in APP and color corrections in Affinity.
And because somebody forgot to changed the filter when setting out bias subs it was all followed by half an hour of hot-pixels hunting :/

Hi Baobab, Pretty good, but looks like you have some tilt, what with the stars
in the upper half of the image being elongated radially.

nice work, a lot of detail even in towards the core. Are you using a flattener/reducer? I dont notice tilt as such but some elongation of stars in each corner that would be addressed by a flattener.

thanks guys - no, I am not using flattener and also noticed that top left corner is always the most effected - not sure how to help it as everything is now screwed tightly to each other - so some suggestions would be appreciated

to my eye it looks pretty uniform not just top left... so far more due to absence of a flatenner than tilt. In any case I wouldn't bother trying to address the tilt till you get a flatenner (assuming you are planning to)
