Perth Astrofest 28 November 2009

Astrofest is set to be the astronomy event of the year! Coinciding with the International Year of Astronomy, this astronomy festival of epic proportions will be a celebration of Australian science.

Date: Saturday, 28 November, 2009
Time: 2pm - 10pm
Cost: Free!
Location: Curtin University of Technology Stadium

Here's a snippet of the rules/entry process -

How to enter

Download the form (from the AWA website) and complete
Prepare your digital photo submission (up to 3 digital photo entries per person / JPEG format up to 3 MB maximum in size per photo. Please also include a low resolution image (up to 100KB JPEG format)
E‐mail your photo submission and entry form to the address provided on the form.

Submissions close 5pm, Friday 6th November and winning entries will be exhibited during Astrofest 2009 on Saturday 28th November at Curtin Stadium in Bentley.

Thought I'd bump this thread seeing as Astrofest is only a few days away for us Perth people. I'll be there during the day with a stall selling my astrophotography products. Might hang around at night, wait and see how exhausting the day is.

Hope to see plenty of IIS people there

I am looking forward to it. Hopefully will get to know some of the society members a bit better. It is difficult for me to be involved with the society as much as I would like but this is one opportunity for me to pitch in and help out.

I will be there from the start to 4-5pm.
How would I pick you out? I guess you would be one of the only teenagers there.
