Interesting stuff/products......one thing with using filters how does the issue of planet rotation with Jupiter and Mars affect the number of frames you can capture through each colour channel ?

bird did tell me, but i have forgotten.

His setup is great, focus, whirrrr goes the focusser, run a red sequence, whirrrr goes the filter wheel, red images taken, focus the green etcc

Being automated, Bird can get lots of images in rgb in a very short amount of time.

I on the other hand with no tracking will be running like a scalded cat to get it!

DP, bintel sell the astronomik filters for $385, unless that price on their website is out of date?

Beren, with Jupiter I try and get about 30 seconds of each colour, jupiter rotates 1 degree in 90 seconds so thats as long as I feel safe to try.
