Cloud Free Night – new Australian weather forecast website [cross-post]

Just want to bring to your attention a thread in Observational Astronomy about a new cloud forecast website developed by a colleague of mine Robert Dahni.

Astrophotographers always want the best weather forecasts before making decisions about investing a lot of time/effort in travel etc but the thread and your comments belong here:

Cloud Free Night tried and liked

Hi Phil,
I have tried CFN and really like it - particularly as it includes Wiruna, Lostock and other primary dark sky locations on its maps.
Having tried to make sense of 7Timer, Skippy Sky and other 7Timer derived programs/apps I have to say that CFN is more like what I want.
I do recommend it to others.
So no longer do I wish others "Clear Skies" - it will now be "Cloud Free Night"
Cheers,
Mel
