Best Camera for a Celestron EdgeHD 8" up to $2500

I'm just curious on recommendations for a a new camera for a Celestron Edge HD 8". I currently have a ZWO 183mc but I'm after a wider FOV. I'll probably spend up to $2500. Any input would be much appreciated.

Have you considered a focal reducer?

Yes I have a the Celestron FR but I'd really like to have the option to go out a bit further. I was reading that for my scope they should have the larger pixel size camera rather than a ZWO183 which has small pixels.

Hi,

This tool from Bintel may help you decide as it tells you if the combination in under or over sampled.

The ZWO ASI071MC is a classic option in that price range, I think you will appreciate the APS-C sensor. The new kid on the block is the ASI2600MC Pro, but its out of stock in au atm. However ZWO is having a sale on their website if you don't mind back ordering it.

Yes this seems like a good choice when I have a look at the Bintel tool. This is exactly what I was after. Cheers
