Setting park for meade

Hi All,

I have a meade rcx400 10" on a wedge loaded ASCOM platform, generic hub and meade lx200gps/r, I want to run with
Maxim 5.12 all seems OK but how do I set park position, I know Ra and
Dec it has to park to clear poof is Ra 4.36.34 and Dec -37.09.05 Meade
AutostarII parks there OK, all help gratefully received.

Gday Peter

You can't park at a given "RA" ( right ascension ),
only a set "HA" (hour angle).
With the Meades, you can manually slew to a set position
and define that as your "Custom Park" position.
After that, ( assuming the ASCOM driver is correctly written
and Maxim uses the std commands),
all that is required is a request to park gets issued,
and it will go there and semi shut down.

Hi Andrew,
Sorry should have bean roof not poof, scope has to park with objective lens
facing south and optical tub level
