Comet Lovejoy from Newcastle

Here is my effort. Had to walk up the street to get past this bright streetlight. Goodness knows what a few motorists who went past seeing a guy with a camera and tripod walking about at 4 am LOL.
8 sec at iso800 with 50mm f1.8 lens. Looked like a searchlight beam with naked eye.

Nice one Scott.
Thanks for sharing the image info too. It's a big help.
Did you crop or is this full frame?

Hi and thanks.
Its a full frame image with the 50mm lens, the tail is very long.
Heres a much longer enhanced exposure, 13x4 secs. Can start to see striations in the tail/s
Sadly weather not looking good for tomorrow
