Lay press is rabbiting on about an extreme solar storm today. Might want to put a layer of aluminium foil under your Captain's hat before taking off today Peter!

Astounding solar work, as always, Peter.

It was an X1.6 flare headed straight to earth.

We're in for some awesome auroral activity down south this weekend.
