Celestron Power Save

Hi,
Does anyone have experience with their Celestron Nexstar scope going into a type of power save mode and stops drawing power?

My jump starter turns off when the draw ceases and therefore the scope turns off. I have tested in that I kept slewing and it all worked great. As soon as I stop, it turns off.

I doubt it is actually going in to any particular power saving mode, but the current draw when tracking will be pretty small and may not be enough to keep your jump starter setup awake.
