All aircraft fuel tanks vent...if they don’t you’ll have sheet loads of issues.
I watched an RAAF BBJ the other day on the ramp at Fairbairn literally pi$$ing avtur everywhere. Being kerosene the flash risk is negligable (recall the old story over the debate about what to fuel turbine engines in the 40’s...between kero and gasoline, it came down to a dare of standing in a pool of each, striking matches and dropping them in....Kero won

The best fuel for turbines is more carbon chains the better (more BTUs) it’s been calculated liquified bitumen would be the best.
