Fits to AVI/SER conversion?????

I unfortunately didn't check my settings on a solar image run (fighting a new spectrohelioscope and cloud/ wind) and ended up with a series of fits files rather than the intended SER/AVI file......

It would be good to be able to convert all these fits images to an AVI file - don't need any "pre-processing" features just use the fits as is.

I tried Arnholm's "ImageTools Sca" program which appeared to work but gave me an un-readable AVI output.
(Could be the total file(s) size - around 4Gb and/ or the exposures 0.03sec, don't know..)
Can anyone suggest/ recommend any software which would work?

I've never done it but I'm pretty sure you can load a serie of FIT files in registax 6 then output to an AVI. There's also a list of codec available.

Thanks guys, but Registax didn’t work....
I followed Dunk’s suggestion and after a ibit of experimenting found that PIPP actually worked with the 800 fits image to give a usable SER output.
So far so good, many thanks!!!

PIPP has been a life saver for file conversion i find. Not all programs implement file formats correctly or fully and getting fits from one program working in others is hit and miss. Everything I save from PIPP just works it seems.
