Back to the DSLR

A couple of clear nights last week gave me an opportunity to image the M17. It's been a while since I played with my DSLR, so I dusted it off and gave it a go.
The image is a result of 80 subs of 180 sec each at 1600 ISO.
Modified Canon 1100D with WO 110 FLT.
I think I need to re-do my calibrating frames as the imaging train has changed.
Comments and suggestions welcome.
Bo

The dynamic range has come out well Bo and the modded 1100D has pick up the Ha colours well. Worthy of a higher resolution I think for closer inspection.

Stay with the DSLR mate they, the Cameras do a great job, and it also depends on how scientific you want to be,.

If you are an ordinary back yard imager like i used to be stay with what you like and can handle.

As said before, keep it simple.
