Barnard's Galaxy NGC2207/IC2163 pair

SPX350 F4.53, ST10XME, Astrodon filters.

Had a try at Barnards Galaxy 6822 which is near the Mway 1.6mill lyrs away and a quick image of interacting NGC2207/IC2163 110 million light years away in Canis Mj which is also near the MWay so plenty of stars.

NGC2207 is tidally stripping IC2163 and has been the site for 4 supernova since 1975. The two galaxies do look attractive but are not imaged much.

Very nice. This is one of the few targets I had to give up on due to light pollution.

Barnards Galaxy is quite an interesting one, you've made me want to revisit my pretty poor attempt at it

Nice images John. That pair of galaxies looks interesting. I must add those to the list.
