I guide my spectrograph on the C11 at f10 with a reflective slit plate ( think of it as a on axis OAG).
I've been using the Lodestar for the past eight years (and occasionally a QHY5Lii).
The main spectral imaging camera is the ATiK314L.
Using AstroArt guiding (or PHD2) I can regularly achieve >10 min subs - based on holding the target star on a 20 micron slit gap (!!)
Never had any issues finding and guiding on target stars.....

Agree Ken - the Lodestar makes an incredible electronic finder too, as I can actually see the galaxy or nebula in the guidecam window even using 0.5 sec frame rate (less still for bright GX) - you know you are on target that way

I reckon QSI 632s with its great QE, effective cooling and a four channel optically isolated guider port would be an ultimate guiding camera, albeit a bit heavy for some setups.

Otherwise I find Lodestar to be really good.
