Reprocessed Centuraus A

Thought i would give my old data a go at reprocessing to test that my PS skills are getting better.

Data was from March.
I skipped adding flats and found that it stopped my terrible vignetting.

My stars are a real let down they are trailing in a kind of clockwise motion
I thinks it could be focuser sag or things off with the optical axis.

hi michael,

nice processing, what did you use to stack the images?
looks like a registration issue with the spinning effect.

Thanks Russ you are right
Went back had a look at my channels and found my Luminance was the cause of the spinning.
I mucked up the registration after using data from 2 nights CCD stack didn't align them correctly.
I tried FFT Shift and rotate mode and that fixed it.
Should have paid more attention to the stacking
