Hi people, just wondering who out there have used this camera? About to order one from Bintel. I would like to get a cooled camera but too exy for me so going to have to do the cooler mod.

got mine for planets, damn impressive step up for me. got cooled...save and wait to get cooled, best decision in long run.

I have the 178mm. I have used it briefly on the eagle nebula and it was awesome; low noise too. Not that you would use the MC for solar but my MM doesn't work so well there.

I suspect it would do really well on planets having small pixels. The 178MM would be a plus on dobs because it has a bigger chip compared to say the 290mc. But then again I'm not a fan of the ASI290 on planets; I have one of those too.
