Bahtinov Grabber issue

Tried to load bahtinov grabber and get this error message. Unfotunately ccant contact the writer of the software:

(Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error message and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Could not load file or assembly.
'Ascom.driver access, version=1.0.4.0, culture=neutral, public key token=565de7938946fba7' or one of its depndencies. The system cannot find the file specified.)

Do i have to also install Ascom drivers? I dont need them for my system, wont that cause conflict issues with other software?

Any suggestions

Cheers Carl

Hi Carl, you shouldn't need ascom to run BGrabber unless you have somehow initiated the focuser control built into it. I would sugest a reinstall or you could try installing a focuser ascom driver of some kind.
I cannot think of any other reason to require an ascom driver.
I am running it on W7 machines without any problems. If you are using W7 you could try switching off user access control in control panel, users, security and see if that works.
