zwo/ascom driver assignment and location

Hi guys, I'm struggling with using zwo cameras for both guiding (phd2) and imaging (apt). Guiding is no worries without the imager plugged in, and imaging is no worries without the guider plugged in.... but they're stepping on eachothers toes when together. I've tried switching between ascom and native in apt but no dice.

Wondering if anyone using the same can post some screenshots of which driver they use for which camera, and where they have those drivers?

Thanks a whole lot!
JP

Just a thought , are you running all your programs in Windows as “Run as Administrator”
My son is a computer wiz and he set mine up that way 3 years ago , never had a problem with programs , drivers and cameras Etc.. operating together
Also have you read the APT manual and ZWO user guide , maybe something in their you might have overlooked , I think you have to download both Ascom and Native drivers for these cameras

Hope others can offer some advice or tips
Good luck !

Just read the ZWO ASI cooled camera quick guide
If your controlling your cameras through Ascom ( most people recommend that option ) you should select ASI Camera 1 as your imaging camera and ASI Camera 2 as your guide camera in the Ascom Camera Chooser
Don’t t know if that helps your issue
Cheers

Thanks Martin, yep thats one of the ways I've tried.
The other is to use the ZWO driver in APT while using ascom camera 2 in PHD2.
The (Very) surprising thing is that I can sit at my kitchen table with both cameras plugged in, imager imaging and transferring files, PHD guiding (or at least looping exposures) and all is good. One day I even kept it all as it was, no disconnecting or even stopping loops, slotted the cams into the scopes and I kid you not, they stopped working! I started to believe in astro-spirits for a moment then.

Anyway, I reinstalled all drivers today, and again it all seems to be working in the kitchen (with filter wheel also connected, just in case) so next session will be the test.

Thanks a lot for checking it out mate, and yep, I'm running both programs as an administrator.
