reflection using ZWO LRGB + QHY9

whenever I shoot horsehead in LRGB with this set up, I always get this HUGE reflection, is there a way minimise or get rid of this artifact? Do I need a IR/UV filter as well?

Does it happen on other images because it looks like an internal reflection to me........... gear used ?

Jeremy is on the right track. This is not from your filters, but from the light reflecting or difracting of something in your imaging train. Most likely something shiny, even something black anodised. Try removing your camera and looking from where the camera would be, for shiny surfaces while pointing the scope into a dimly lit light source.

YEY, actually as a photographer (professional, sports) NOT astronomy, I see similar in close up tubes, cheap ones, where you often get total internal reflections, happens in macro photography with let's say "less expensive" gear

Thanks for the response guys, I've recently switched from the large 2" QHY filterwheel to the ZWO miniEFW 1.25" filterwheel and it started occuring after that. I might try and go back to the QHY filterwheel and see if it still occurs. I found that the ZWO miniEFW has a slight gap at the top of the carousel that leaks light as well.

I’ve not seen that with my ZWO mini EFW, but I use the Astronomik Deep Sky RGB.

The nasty streak from top right corner seems to be from an off-axis bright star. Have you tried shifting where the scope is pointing slightly and seeing how it affects the image?
