There was no free upgrade for XP or Vista, and the two netbooks I upgraded didn't work properly. I had to take them back to Windows 7.

I'm using my Netbooks in Bali at the moment. Very glad for this thread

32 bit was the default for XP, 64bit was the exception. It wasn't until Win7 that 64bit became the norm.
