Second go at NGC 6744 in Pavo

90 x 180 secs with Optolong L-Pro 1.25”

Not perfect but happy to get this together over two nights amidst guiding and polar alignment issues. ��

Processed in APP and PS.
Somehow I find galaxies much more challenging than nebulae or clusters.

I can remember my first galaxy (it was only a few years ago) and I was totally thrilled.

And now the journey of getting everything right is never ending...

That is nice and worth the effort. Stars are kind of elongated and the background may need some improvement. Keep them coming!!!
