PHD2 calibration failure

I got this error tonight after calibrating.... Does this mean anything in particular is wrong? Guiding was indeed pretty ordinary, as predicted!

I had some very interesting times with PHD2 tonight, this was just the beginning. I may need more than 1 thread.....

Underneath the error box is the reason I thought I might need to recalibrate.

i got caught out at astrofest by not setting up the guide scope parameters, maybe that may have something to do with it?

How close were you to polar alignment? I have seen similar messages in the past when the polar alignment was WAY OUT.

Polar alignment is probably the one thing that I'm fairly confident is good.

Ground could have shrunk with clay soils?

I don't think so mate.
I suspect my guiding woes are to do with grease stiction and contamination - I'm planning on completely stripping it down in the coming weeks and see where we're up to then. I will certainly check and adjust polar alignment then.... But when I disabled guiding output later on, dec drift was pretty small, so I think it is not the problem here.
