12/8/19 Lunar Occultation of Saturn

This was quite a difficult composite to put together - the fully lit side of the moon where Saturn egressed was sprinkled with some very high contrast areas leading to some highlights inevitably being blown, which I tried to control the best I could in processing - didn't want to get too crazy with photoshop if I could help it aside from the basics.

All in all very happy with how this turned out! Enjoy the flyover!

That is really well processed, a grand distance contrast with good detail in both.

John.

Very impressive. Like Saturn rise from an orbiter.
