solar video-astronomy

i have a g-star 2 being used with my 14"sct and the 40mm coronado being piggy backed and i am swapping the g-star to use with the solar views,am happy with what you can see but in order to see the limb and proms it is over exposed and not quiet what i was expecting...iv'e seen that the g-star original has a setting called auto occulting-disc and it seems to block the sun and give excellent views of the limb.has any body done or used this setting as i'm interested in getting something for the solar scope -live video- any thoughts and ideas...
thanks peter

the g-star 2 doesn't have this setting don't know why..and it's mono only too..
