Jup 11/7

Really struggling to get good seeing lately. A week of total cloud cover, couple of days ago I even filmed through clouds- mainly just to try out the new dual speed focuser and get it sighted in for when conditions improved. Tonight was raining about 6 pm, then the clouds cleared and it looked like it would be OK. Got in from work at 7 and didn't have time to cool it down properly before the red spot at 7:36. Had a go anyway, and got a few vids before the seeing went real bad. Didn't even get a chance to do Saturn it was that bad. Anyway, here's Jupiter from a couple hours ago, best I could do.

Never miss an opportunity whether good or bad seeing, you never know if you may get lucky. Good catch.
