Interested in joining our imaging team at Sierra Remote Observatory?

We have one member of our imaging team leaving at end of April when we renew the agreement with SRO, so there's an opportunity for someone new to join.

For two years, the group has been using a Ceravolo 300 CDK f/4.9, FLI ProLine 16803, AstroDon LRGB & NB filters, and an Astro-Physics 1100GTO mount with absolute encoders.

The group is small (5 people) and the SRO seeing is excellent. Imaging is automated and runs whenever weather permits. Data is shared between all the members of the team.

The cost per member is approx $2,400 USD/year.

Here are a few sample images using SRO data:

Info on SRO here: http://www.sierra-remote.com/index.php

Having access to Northern objects is pretty cool

PM me if you're interested.

Cheers,
Rick.
