Not an eclipse

Hi Everyone, finally starting to get back into imaging, still got a long way to go before some decent deep sky but managed a moon shot to test the new APO Triplet.

Looks a bit grainy as i added a bit of colour to the shot but quite surprise very little chromatic aberration in the shot.

Eclipse would have been nice but the rain and clouds put a damper on the proceedings.

Thanks everyone, was mainly a test shot, nothing special not much time to setup the gear before weather reprisal. Focused from the back of the camera no PC either.

Certainly promising Malcolm.

I really like my Meade 80mm but at a FL of only 480mm, the moon is fairly small in it. One of the nice things about a triplet though is the clarity. Looking forward to seeing some more out of your APO.

Cheers,
Darrin...

I did a visual test and the clarity was so good I was able to split binary stars the same night.
