Seeing conditions in Melbourne last night

Managed to get some time outside last night imaging the planets and Moon.

I was having a real hard time with Mars and Saturn. Focus was ok but there was so much missing detail on both planets.

I am assuming that the Moon was flushing a lot of the detail and colour out but maybe atmospheric conditions were crap as well?

Anyone in Melbourne imaging last night and can share their experience?

I was shooting with a 135mm lens and had FWHM of 1.5 pixels
At my image scale even the worst of seeing conditions are still quite favourable

Lots of disturbance in the air due to the cold front that was coming through in the early morning.

We were out having a first light of the scope I got my yung bloke for his bristhday (8" motorised dob) and while it needs properly collimating I thought the conditions were pretty unexceptional.

Still, he was rapt as now he has his own to use. I just need to build a good, big and stable dob trolley to be able to get it in and out without having to remove the OTA.

I was eyeballing and filming Moon, Saturn and Mars last night, there was nothing to be seen, Moon was boiling...
Today I will try to extract some details from movies, but I'm not holding my breath.
