Growing Sunspot #2673

SpaceWeather has a small video of this spot 2673, growing, interesting to watch, , 'group just left of center'

I only knew as my Son's Girl has an interest in space, 'I found out' so thought she could use the 76mm newt "Nat Geographic Solar scope' on the moon and planets 'without filter, but we had a quick 'lesson' today with the filter - well, well, after seeing Sol's surface features, the scope was then carried away with some anticipation

This 1st pic for today's record, with major spots 'front & center' isnt much, considered taken with just the ED80, thousand oaks whitelight glass photo filter & 600D slr
ISO100, F7.5, 1/2000th sec

Straight after taken a few images, I had to move the car after which, was quite a dazzling display of Crepuscular rays from a stray cloud mass.

Hope worth a squizz
