Spring in the Aussie Alps

Took the family to the last of the snow this year 2 weeks ago. We went to Thredbo, and took the lifts to the top - certainly was NOT cold!

As you can see, the coverage was really starting to recede, but it was still a lot of fun (and being not cold, was even more fun since the wife and kids didn't whinge ). My wife was rapt from Jindabyne on (the country really starts getting beautiful)

Magnificent country we live in...

You're killing me Lewis.
I'd love to go up there.
Amazing.
I've only ever seen snow once.

It's very cool... until you have to scrape it off the windscreen before you can drive to work

I remember shovelling mine out of the side of the road once in andorra. Took about 15min to find the right car, 1h to free it and 1min pissing on the frozen keyhole to open it.

I've never seen snow, but have been to Kosciusko in the late Spring. Beautiful place.

No huskies in the pyrenees, just a handful of bears, but they're quite shy and don't run that fast.
