Too many stars!

Another campsite shot from me.

This time in Gloucester and somewhat over exposed at 180 x 30 seconds at ISO3200 with a Samyang 14mm and Canon 650d

I've pushed up the saturation to add some interest to what was otherwise a mass of un-differentiated stars!

The video of the sequence looks great, but I'm not planning to upload it on mobile data...

Quality shot, so many stars indeed! I just recently tried my hand at a proper star trail shot, I think I prefer your composition to mine

Thanks Ingrid and Meru. I've attached a single frame to show just how many stars came out to play!

I think there is a balance to be found between maximum depth and enough to make a nice star trail...

I agree Jonathon, I sometimes think startrails look better with less density of stars rather than more
