Blue Mountains trip

Went for a trip to the Blue Mountains this afternoon. Weather was great and the skies clear. Walked down to the spot in day light and waited for sunset. Thought I'd try some light painting to bring out the foreground a little. Finished and packed up just before 7pm and hiked back in the dark. First photo is a single frame, 2nd photo is a 5 shot panorama.

I'm not a fan of light-painting on the landscape/nightscape, but, these have come out exceptionally well!

Agree 100% with Octane. I usually prefer silhouettes in nightscapes but the subtle lighting here works really well.

What lens & camera did you use?

Thanks Morton, I used a Canon 70d with Tokina 11-16. f2.8, 20 sec, iso 1600.
