Guess what!

Yup another Swan

Here's my attempt on Sunday morning - each image was made up of 2 mins of 11 second subs on my 14" F2 (hyperstar) Meade using a ZWO ASI174MM Cool.

The tail extends about 2 1/2 degrees in the image.

Forgive the dodgy stitching, I still haven't bothered to take any flats, so a little 'dodging' was in order to help blend them

And a great one too.

Well captured and executed! The tail just keeps on going.

Not light years, Col, tho a few hundred million miles are more likely, Comet and tail is all bound to the inner solar system, basically with in the Mars orbit do tails of this nature form

Thanks, and glad you like it. I had a very short window of opportunity from it sticking it's nose above the trees and daybreak - fortunately I grabbed enough data to put something together.
