What is your favourite barlow?

I have a cheapish barlow and a Baader one on the way. What is your favourite barlow?

I had a TV 2X barlow and it was quite good. Is it the best there is? Or are there better?

Greg.

Baader FFC the only barlow you'll ever need.

I used Zenit 2x teleconverter for Mars and Moon... not a trace of CA.
It could be boosted beyond 2x with M42 extenders...

haven't tried one, but powermate or similar for me, get the barlow effect without losing eye relief. Less of a problem if you have generous eye relief EP's.

But at the end of the day, pure ep's is often said to be the best...

I was toying with the idea of 25/20/15mm tv plossl's with a powermate x2.5. At x2.5 for the 1.25" eps that's 10, 8 and 6mm, which would have worked well on my F6 dob. A major reason to go with a powermate was the plossl offering limited eye relief at higher mag.

Ps. I am trying to focus on a set of eye pieces that are around $1000 or so. I got a bargain scope that completely mislead me on the price of this hobby.
