450 Modded White Balance

I have acquired a modded 450D with Baader UV/IR filter. What white balance setting gives best results for shooting nebulae? Should I use the auto white balance setting?

Thanks for that. I have an unmodded camera but use a light pollution filter that makes everything seem really blue so this might help.

I just got a light box for taking flats and was going to use that to take custom wb shots to use for astro work and see if it works.

To date what I've been doing is setting the wb to auto and then editing the wb in camera raw, not the best but....
