Interesting comparison of prime and zoom lenses

It would be interesting to see MTF graphs for a good quality refractor.

Interesting read. I should probably learn to read MTF curves at some point, along with spot diagrams

They're a lot more useful than spot diagrams. You can "read" the aberrations of an optical system.

Trying the-digital-picture.com will also help. You can compare the quality of any two lenses, prime or zoom.

Don't forget guys that cameras and lenses are just tools, nothing more and if the user can't take a photo to begin with its a waste.
