Cool guider

can anyone advise if a celestron nexguider suitable for use with a ccd imager. all info states perfect for a dslr.

Yes, it will work. The imaging camera is irrelevant in this case - it only matters if you have a built-in OAG and are looking for a particularly sensitive guider. I presume for the nexguider you would be using a guidescope.

Just note John - the advantage of the nexguider is that you don't need a computer to run it. So it's useful for a DSLR in the field. But with a CCD you definitely need to drive it with a computer. So the advantage of the independent nexguider is kind of lost, and the disadvantages (insensitive, limited/no control over guiding algorithm etc.) are left...
