Had been observing and imaging yesterday in bad seeing conditions and hopefully will get a chance today as it rotates into better view. From images on Spaceweather.com it seems to be active with minor C class flares, so will definitely be keeping an eye on the area.

A quick stack of AR2738 from earlier this arvo, seeing was bad , again. Southerly change passed through right on schedule, as I set up. Nice prom on the western limb as well which I couldn't image because of the wind.

Jeff,
Well done mate!
That's what a sunspot should look like, umbra and penumbra, with surrounding faculae....

Thanks Ken, there are some stunning images over on Spaceweather.com User galleries that I would love to be able to emulate but need much better equipment.
