Hmmm, 1st impressions, or seen something that left an impression, or even a footprint impression or car impression that hit a tree, , well not much impression on the tree that would be noticeable
----------------
Not sure if this image 'fits-the-Theme', Feedback Wanted ? but one reject from a few 'fire-twirling' capers during a bongo-drum party left a unique impression from a night out !

Hey Bob,

I was thinking along the lines of impressionist photography.

"Then there is another style when the photographer tries to convey the feeling of a scene, a general impression, or suggestion of a scene. Lacking in detail these impressionist images emphasize colour over line and are often soft, dreamy, and have a painterly feel."

Interesting Derek & Col
--------------
I played at the horse center today, experimenting with mostly deliberate camera movement.
Most Camera specs were ISO100, F22 & I had overlapped 2 high-density-filters for longer exposure times, basically between 0.5 secs upto 2.5 secs in some instances.
1st pic is of the tree/scene that was used for the following pics 2 & 3, light painting with the sunlight through the leaves giving a better representation of the dizziness one can experience when looking up and trying to focus on the view ?
4th ) Move Lazy Horses
5th, Spinning in the Forest
6th, White wood Red wood
7, Pipe Line

Good one Bob, I like the spinning in the forest, it has a painterly feel about it.

Speaking of Impressions - I did mention 1st post about cars & trees, well guess what made a rather loud clash last night just down the road, one car hit a parked car, how does that happen,, mob-ph looks like good odds at a guess. young driver in his girlfriends car, who is dating another chap, car uninsured, she now claiming he stole it - woah,
The parked car (also not insured) belongs to a single working mother, Oh Dear ! !
Note Number-plates,,, 679 runs into 678 ?

Thanks Darren, funny you say that because it was the kind of rain with really big drops that explode on impact.
I actually had a different picture in mind, but the rain was playing havoc with the auto-focus and this was one of the 'mistake' photos, which turned out to be my favorite from the batch.
Attached is the pic that I was actually aiming for, but when I download them to the laptop I liked the out-focus arty pic more!
