I haven't been to Mt Buffalo in winter but I imagine it would be equally beautiful with snow. Perhaps someone local to there can say how much snow there is?

Graham there is a resort on Mt Buffalo or alternatively stay in Bright. In winter there is enough for chairlifts and short ski runs but not now...

Work tied me up for a while so decided to try new zealand

Drove through a blizzard and got to see Aroki a few hours after a big fall and the weather cleared.
