More details req.
Did it come with any extensions?
Check straight through without any diagonal to work out the light path req. for focus.
Light path of a 2" diagonal is longer!
Try using 1.25" diagonal.
Some of the joys of a new scope.

Enjoy

Hi Darren
I have tried a 40mm extension tube and no joy,Only have 2" eyepieces and TBH not really too worried as bought it for its f5.9 widefield state for visual only and must say it performs exceptionally well but would be nice to see how it would perform ,Will not buy any other extras to make it fit so to speak will just sell the CQ 1.7 extender as i have what i bought it for......
