Webcam suggestions for webcasting the Moon

Hi,

I am after suggestions for a webcam or low end ccd camera that I can use for webcasting the Moon or Sun live.

I have a 50mm f3.2 lens (Orion Mini 50mm Guide Scope purchased from Bintel) which I am assuming will give me a wide enough field of view to get the disc of either onto a small imaging chip. I had planned to use it with an old Phillips webcam but have just discovered that it doesn't work with Windows 7.

Thanks in advance.

Paul Floyd.

Paul,
I believe you can flash the firmware on an 840 to make it think it is a SPC900NC, which is supported by Philips in Win7. See section 6 on this webpage. Good Luck
