NGC1999 and HH objects from Atacama

Hi everyone,

Here is a picture of NGC1999, which stands South of the M42/M43 couple, in the Orion constellation !
This picture is full of HH objects (Herbig-Haro), big jets from forming stars... We have an labeled version here: http://www.atacama-photographic-obse..._ngc1999_a.jpg

I think we have here something close to the real carmine red, don't you think ?

Technical infos are visible here: http://www.atacama-photographic-obse...o_EN.php?id=98
And the full saze picture is here: http://www.atacama-photographic-obse..._ngc1999_f.jpg

Hope you'll like it
See you soon !

That's a nice image. I had a go at this area about 12 months back but I like your composition better.

Thank you all guys !
We're glad that you like it...

The Ha layer is amazing in this area of Orion. The density is huge.
We've done a black & white version of this Ha layer...

Hope you'll like this one too
