If you have not been to astronomyforum.net for a while you may not know that due to ongoing issues and the possible imminent demise of the site, most members there have moved over to The Sky Searchers, a.k.a. TSS.

Pretty much the same members and mods and definitely the same ambience. I think the TSS design is better than AF
Some at TSS have been asking about the whereabouts of folks that I know are on IIS, worrying that they might get stranded.
Plus if you have any content over at AF.net you might want to rescue it before the site disappears.

Important Notice These forums are no longer maintained. The moderators that remain are unable to prevent spammers and bots from signing up and taking advantage of the forum and its members, and many of the forums features no longer work. We recommend that prospective members instead sign up on The Sky Searchers, a.k.a. TSS. https://theskysearchers.com TSS was created by former members as an alternative to AstronomyForum.net when the growing problems with this site became evident. If you like the discussions you read here, you can continue them at TSS, because many of the same members are over there.
